The evening of February 5th, 2021 the MRDC and board member Jeff Helfrich held a public Zoom meeting to draw the winner of the Fly Fishing with Tight Lines challenge. Jeff Helfrich at Tight Lines is a board member of the McKenzie River Discovery Center and owner of Tight Lines. He donated a day of guided fishing with the proceeds going to the McKenzie River Discovery center to continue the clean up after the Holiday Farm Fire and to support of local programs in that space, like the ongoing Vida Relief Center which is managed by our local McKenzie River Community Development Corp.
And the winner is: Bill Scott of Portland, Oregon. Thank you Bill and thank you everyone else that participated in this successful event.
